Leadership Starts with Knowing Yourself

Over the years, I have taken my share of psychometric tests. Some felt like astrology. Others? Game-changers.

For me, DISC was the revelation — in minutes, you can understand how to flex your communication style. I can often guess someone’s default profile just by observing their behavior (introvert vs. extrovert, people vs. task orientation).

Friends swear by the Enneagram for uncovering underlying motivators. The most elegant? LCP — a treasure map for leadership development, offering insights you can use for years.

Socrates said it best: Know thyself. And knowing yourself is not a one-off exercise — it is a lifelong habit. Try as many tools as you can. Some will resonate deeply. Each will add a new piece to your leadership puzzle.
