Confidence? Or Esteem?

Confidence and esteem are not the same.
Confidence is situational, you can feel confident giving a presentation but uneasy in a negotiation. Esteem is deeper, your overall sense of worth.
One of my clients learned that working only on “confidence tricks” was not enough. She had to strengthen her esteem to project real authority.
