The trap of overworking

Overworking doesn’t lead to a promotion.

It leads to more overwork.

I see it again and again:

Bright professionals piling on responsibilities, staying always connected, always responsive.

And guess what happens?

They become known as reliable… not promotable.

They get more work… not more recognition.

Instead, I teach my clients to ask:

🔹 What work actually creates impact?

🔹 Who sees and values that impact?

Saying “yes” to everything dilutes your value.

Strategic boundaries amplify it.

Visibility comes from meaningful results—not heroic effort.

Are you building a reputation… or burning out?
