Last Wednesday, I had the privilege to facilitate a session on onboarding during our Division's mini Club Officer Training program. This initiative, led by Damien Gautier, is all about connecting clubs while training new officers—a perfect blend of teamwork and growth. And guess what? Every session is hybrid, ensuring no one is left behind. 🌍💻
For me, each intervention is more than just a talk—it's an opportunity to crystallize my thoughts and strategies. This time, I focused on the Guest Experience. I walked the team through the different touchpoints a guest has with a club, emphasizing the importance of visually mapping these experiences to pinpoint areas for improvement. 📊✨
But the learning didn’t stop there. I also attended sessions on Moments of Truth and officer exchanges. These experiences reminded me that I joined Toastmasters to improve my public speaking, but I've gained so much more: deep friendships and unexpected insights in areas I hadn’t anticipated.
So here’s my advice for those looking to rise: Don’t just focus on what’s in front of you—look around. What are the touchpoints in your career that you can improve? How can you add more heart to your work? ❤️
